Scott A. May, age 67, passed away, at home, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021. He was husband of the late Margaret “Peg” (Myers) May, who passed away in 2016.
Scott was born in Hanover on July 21, 1953 and was the son of the late William May and Mary (Groft) May. He graduated from Delone Catholic High School class of 1972 and worked as a plasterer and carpenter most of his life. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter. He was a member of the McSherrystown Home Association, the Knights of Columbus in McSherrystown and the McSherrystown Fish and game Association.
He is survived by his daughter Brandy L. Miller of Hanover; his sisters Karen Kohlmaier and her husband Greg, Kathy Thomassy and her husband Doc, Pam Kline and her husband Jeff, and Susan DeBoard; his brothers John May and his wife Donna and Phil May; his brother-in-law Dennis Wagner and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Sheila Wagner and his brother-in-law Don DeBoard.
