SOUTH BELOIT - Winifred A. Mickey, 68, of 322 Fair Oaks Blvd., died this morning in Beloit Memorial Hospital.
A South Beloit resident since 1927, she was born on Jan. 13, 1914, in Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Albert and Nellie O'Neill Calkins. She married Harry E. Mickey on April 19, 1929
She was a retired Pate Foods employee.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Beverly (Earl) Olson and Mrs. Marlene (James) Mears, both of South Beloit; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Waunita (Virgil) McMillin of Beloit, Mrs. Winot Lewis and Mrs. Willa (Curtis) McMoran, both of El Cajon, Calif., and Mrs. Wilma (Thomas) Cox and Mrs. Waunda (Forrester) Adkins, both of Huntingdon, W.V.; and two brothers, Wilbert LeRoy Calkins of Medford, Ore., and Albert Calkins, Jr., of El Cajon, Calif.. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Wilford and Harold, and two great-grandsons.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Rosman, Uehling, Kinzer Blackhawk Chapel with Captian David Biggs of the Salvation Army officiating. Burial will be in Rockton Cemetery. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday in the Blackhawk Chapel, South Beloit.
