William "Mike" Michael Hodges, 69, McHenry, Il passed away on November 20, 2020
He was born in Paducah, Ky on March 16, 1951
William "Mike" worked at Modine Manufacturing as a machine operator for 25 years and retired in 2005, delivered papers for the Chicago Sun-Times and worked part-time for the McHenry Cab after retiring. Mike was active for many years with the McHenry area Jaycees and always loved helping out at special events. He worked alongside his Father, Carmon Hodges, as a first responder on the McHenry area Rescue squad. Mike was a huge Cubs and Bears fan and loved country music. He will be remembered as always smiling and telling stories and jokes.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Carmon Hodges, his Mother, Virginia "Tade" Hodges, and his brother, James "Bob" Hodges
Mike is survived by his two sons, William and Wesley (Vanessa) Hodges, 4 Grandchildren (William, Lucas, Elizabeth and Kinsley Hodges) his Sister Mary Jane Zaida and many nieces and nephews.
Mike will be dearly missed and is loved by so many others not listed. He was a great Son, Father, Grandfather, Brother, and Uncle. He had a huge heart and loved his family and friends with all of it.
A celebration of life is to be held, at a future date and time.
