She was pre-deceased in life by her parents, Mildred (nee. Rothfuss) and Colin Baldwin,
as well as her loving husband, Harold James Miller, Sr.,
and beloved granddaughter, Kyla LeeAnne Miller.
She leaves behind her brother, Colin Baldwin, Jr., and wife, Antoinette; her children, Harold James, Jr., and wife, Darla (nee. Morrison), Randy Lee and wife, Stephanie (nee. Molchan), Dana Lee (Christine Thayer-Miller), and Jeffrey Alan; 15 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She graduated from Bellevue High School in 1951 and worked as a keypunch operator until her marriage to Harold on July 20, 1957.
June and Harold were part of the original Fernway community when they moved into their home in 1958, where their address changed numerous times without ever leaving their home. She worked as a waitress at Howard Johnsons on the PA Turnpike and was a long-term employee of the PA Lottery Commission at Mars Drug Store. Until a brain injury in 1997 curtailed her activities, she lived a life of service through many school clubs, as a Sunday School teacher for St. John’s UCC in Evans City, a Boy Scouts den mother, the Cranberry Township Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, where she served as President, WELCA, Secretary at Zion Lutheran Church in Harmony, and as an auxiliary member of the Cranberry Elks Lodge # 2249. She was a life-long Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. During her final years, she lived in Hanover, PA, near her oldest children, where she regaled the staff at her skilled care home with her quick wit and unending jokes.
Public visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Boylan-Glenn-Kildoo Funeral Home & Cremation Svcs., Inc., 130 Wisconsin Ave./PO Box 2155, Cranberry Twp., PA 16066.
A family only visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Peggy Suhr-Barkley.
Interment will be family only at Mount Royal Cemetery after the service.
