Thomas Cullwell Keizur and Sarah Isabella Ramsey were married on 22 November 1855, at Salem, Marion, Oregon, by the Rev. Daniel Bagley. They were both living in Marion County, at the time of their marriage. It was later in life that they moved to Cottage Grove, Lane, Oregon. It became very active in mining, logging, and farming. It was for a time a gold rush town.

The 1870 U. S. Federal Census reports, Thomas Cullwell Keizur, was farming with his wife and seven children that lived on the Coast Fork of the Willamette River and the small town Cottage Grove was their Post Office town. Their children were as follows: Thomas Dove -14, John Vordone -12, Mannly Francis - 10, Mary Elizabeth -8, Olive Jane - 6, Ruth Ella - 4 and Marquesc Edward - born 26 March 1870.

In the 1880 Federal Census, Thomas Cullwell Keizur, is stock ranching and farming at Rock Creek, Wasco County, Oregon, and the following children were added to the family: Willie -9; Mary Cordelia -6; Wynnie Levana -3 and Frances Luella [Lula] - 1, born Feb 1879 and later died in Portland, as LuLa Frances Cornett, on 16 September 1971, at 92 years old.

In the 1900 U. S. Federal Census, Thomas C. Keizur, is a quartz miner with a home near Bohemia, Lane, Oregon. He and his beloved wife are now in their 60's and have been married close to 46 years. They are living in one of the most productive mining areas of Oregon and are about 25 miles southwest of Cottage Grove. They are living in the mountains and it is ruff land and a hard life.Married in 1855
