Patsy Hixon Hill (Seeber) departed this life peacefully at home on March 14, 2021 in Newport, TN at the age of 68. Patsy was born on December 17th, 1952 in Charleston, SC to Ralph and Audrey Seeber, she was the most studious of their children, always having a love for reading and teaching others. Patsy was a devoted mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. To know Patsy was to love her and her laugh was contagious. Her mission in life was to love unconditionally. She shared a special bond with her sister and best friend Rose. She was big in her community coaching girls’ basketball and softball teams during the 90’s. She was affectionately known as Mrs. Patsy and was loved by her girls. She worked for Oak Ridge City government for most of her career before retiring to enjoy her grandchildren and horses. Patsy was an accomplished equestrian and often spent her free time on trails with friends and family. She was a generous, witty, and a fun individual who loved her family. She was passionate about her children and grandchildren. She was an active and dedicated member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church and enjoyed going to church when she was able.

Patsy is survived by loving husband, Ron Hill; children, Ron Smith of Nashville, Kanya Young of Knoxville, James Lewis of Oak Ridge, Tony Hixon of Paintrock, siblings; Rose and husband James Stipes of Strawplains, Debra Jackson of Oliver Springs, Dee and wife Kay Seeber of Strawplains; Grandchildren Zona, Seth, Zackary, Destinye, Gracey, Koby, Zoe, Noah, Jonah, Henry, Madilyn and Carter and a host of other family that loved her dearly.

She was preceded in death by Parents Ralph and Audrey Seeber; Daughter, Audrey Mullins; Sisters, Kay Seeber, Adalee Seeber, Estaleda Seeber; brothers, Ralph Seeber Jr., Clarence Edward Seeber and husband Steve Hixon.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 5:00-7:00pm at McCarty Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. Bill Bass will officiate the ceremony.
