Mr. Russell Allen Warren, age 55 of North Wilkesboro passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health-Wilkes Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Rev. James Wingler and Mr. Clayton Warren officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.
Russell was born September 14, 1965 in Wilkes County to Jim Lee and Freda Pearl Benge Warren. He retired from Lowes Companies and from NCDOT.
Russell was predeceased by his parents.
Russell is survived by his wife, Sylvia Ann Thornton Warren of the home; two daughters, Carolyn Harris of North Wilkesboro, and Patty Johnson and husband Kert of Millers Creek; two sons, Scotty Royal and Kaison Shepherd of North Wilkesboro, and Benny Royal of Alva, FL; eleven grandchildren, Casey Royal, Devon Harrold, Nicholas Harris, Lucas Harrold, Alex Harrold, Brittney Harris, Morgan Royal, Hailey Royal, Amber Harrold, Emma Johnson, and Jeremiah Johnson; and two brothers, Clayton Ray Warren of West Jefferson and Charles Clyde Call and wife Tonya of Purlear.
