Jay Kenneth Miller, 87, of La Junta passed away on March 16, 2021 at the Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo. He was born on November 24, 1933 near Kim, Colorado to Judson & Anna Lou (Dean) Miller. He married Luella Langdon of La Junta, in 1954 in Raton, New Mexico; she preceded him in death on October 21, 2020.

He is survived by his five children, Lou Ann (Jay) Quick of Cheraw; David (Laura) Miller of Las Animas; Bill (Darla) Miller of Cheraw; Rita Miller Roberts of La Junta and Marty (Jamie) Miller of Olney Springs; also survived by a multitude of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; brothers, Clell, Cole, Alvie, JD, Butch; sisters, Lola McKinley, Zola Walker and Evelyn Miller; granddaughter, CJ Atwood and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Springer.

As per Jay’s request cremation has taken place and the family will host a gathering and dinner for friends and family to celebrate the lives of both Jay & Luella on Monday, March 22, 2021 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Valley Trading Post Event Center located at 23056 Hwy 350 in La Junta.
