Sylvia “Sandra” Heath Thompson, fondly known to her family as “Sambo”, was born October 26, 1951 in Morris County (Naples, TX) to the late Mulkey and Lorene Heath. She was the last of four children.

Sandra was a member at Williams Chapel Baptist Church, Naples. She received her education from Carver High School and was a graduate of Jarvis Christian College.

During her life, Sandra was employed at various places. She managed a Pizza Hut, worked as an accounting technician for Phillips Petroleum Company and her last job was underwriting for Fireman’s Fund Insurance.

She was also preceded in death by her niece Yuvetta Heath.

She is survived by her sister Roceythia (Pwee) Tillmon-Pollard of Naples, TX; Mulkey (Butch) Heath Jr. of Amarillo, TX; Alton Heath (Janice) of De Soto, TX. Four nieces and nephews: Robert (Chief) Tillmon of Tyler, TX; Robinette (Robin) Tillmon of Tyler, TX; Jonathan Heath of Dallas, TX and Lakeisha (KeKe) Heath of Dallas, TX. Great nieces Jordan Monge and Mycah Heath and great nephews, Lanier Dallas and Jacob Sharock. She had first cousins that acted as sisters and brothers Sally, Carolyn, LaTwayne, Carlton, Lester, Lisa and Myrtle. She had lots of special friends and relatives.
