Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Navy who served during the Vietnam War and a retired machinist from Naval Ordnance. He was a member and former president of the International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers Local Lodge #830, a member of VFW Post 1832, a member of the American Legion Post 35 and a member of the National Association of Federal Employees Chapter 381. Paul was also honored to be commissioned as a Kentucky Colonel.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Campbell; and sisters, Shirley and Donna Campbell.
Paul is survived by his sons, Neal, David and Keith Campbell; brother, Eddie Joe Campbell; sister, Mary Senn; the mother of his children, Deloris Jean Campbell; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
A Graveside Service with full military honors will be at 1:30 pm on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at New Albany National Cemetery (1943 Ekin Avenue, New Albany, IN 47150). Cremation was chosen following Paul's wishes.
