Troy Hassell Williams was born on April 19, 1927 in Laurel County, Kentucky, the son of the late Elijah and Lina Tipton Williams.
He was united in marriage to Evadene Cheek Williams who preceded him in death.
He is survived by two children, Les Williams (Lisa) and Judy Johnson of London, two grandchildren, Kyle Williams and Jamie Johnson, one special great grandson, Benjamin Elijah Williams plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Besides his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, James Johnson, a grandchild, Johnathan Steven Johnson, and nine siblings, Roy, Ray, James Leslie, Vick and Luther Williams, Hazel Brewer, Bertie Wilson, Minnie Chesnut and Katherine Sasser.
He was a retired employee of Flowers Bakery, a member of the Lick Fork Community Baptist Church, and a member of the Merchant Marines.
