Born in Pickens County, a son of Hazel Medlin Bagwell of Easley and the late Lonnie Leon Bagwell, Mr. Bagwell retired as an accountant with Interstate Bakeries and was a member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are three daughters and sons-in-law, Leslie and Richard Wolf, Elizabeth and David Ells and Laura and Frederick Koerwitz, all of Charlotte; a brother, Jan Bagwell of Easley; a sister, Nadine Stvan of Dunwoody, Ga.; eight grandchildren, Jaklyn Gail Wolf, Alexandria Rhea Wolf, Richard Brandon Wolf, Savannah Jane Ells, Patrick Donovan Ells, Melissa Kay Simpson, Frederick Braedon Koerwitz and Lauren Elizabeth Koerwitz.
