Sandra Lynn Steele was born to Edwin Luther and Ima Jean (Strange) Neeley on February 23, 1945 in Brownwood, TX and was raised by her grandparents Luther & Alice Neeley. Sandra went to be with her Heavenly Father on February 4, 2015 in Victoria, TX having reached the age of 69 years, 11 months 12 days.

Sandra was raised in Texas living in Smeyer, Tulia, and Amarillo where she attended school. She married Jim Steele on July 25, 1964 in Mexico. Jim and Sandra made their home in Silverton, TX where they raised their children before moving to Thomas, OK in 1971. They were class parents for all three kids. Sandra was very active in the community, her children, grandchildren, and in church activities. In her past time she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, making cakes, and watching the birds. She loved helping people and she did not know how to say no.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Luther and Alice Neeley and Bryan and Iva Strange; parents, Edwin Neeley and Ima Jean Strange Martin; one grandson, Bryant Parker Majeune; two brothers, Mark and Louis Neeley; and one sister, Sue Breedlove.
