Joyce Carolyn Helton Gray, age 80, of Hot Springs, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, from Cardiopulmonary Disease.

She was born on January 14, 1941, in Hot Springs, the daughter of John Abb Helton and Velma Jewel Arman Helton. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Leon Paul Helton; and two sisters, Gladys Helton Neighbors and Yvonne Helton Evans.

Joyce was born in Hot Springs and moved to California as a child and returned to Hot Springs in her 20’s. She worked at National Rejectors until it closed and then did payroll for Zane Gray construction until retirement. Joyce enjoyed traveling in the RV, camping, reading, crocheting, playing cards, and visiting with friends and family.

She was survived by her husband of 60 years, Zane Gray; her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Danny R. and Cathi Gray and Kevin Z. Gray; her daughter, Ellen Gray Cooley; five grandchildren, Joshua C. Gray, Dakota Gray, Haydon Gray, Evan Gray and Trisha (Justin) Bruce; two great-grandchildren, Colton and Kimber Bruce; her brother and sister-in-law, John R. and Diana Helton, her brother-in-law, Doyce Evans, her sister-in-Law, Vivian Erichsen; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
