Raymond A. Sullivan, 75, of Princeton Junction NJ passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018. Born in New Haven, CT, he resided in Princeton Junction, NJ, for over 46 years. Ray was the son of the late Jerome and Kathleen (Connelly) Sullivan and brother of the late Jerry Sullivan. He is survived by his wife, Valerie (Kelly) Sullivan; four sons, their spouses/ partners, and nine grandchildren: Patrick and Elizabeth Sullivan and their children, Kylie, Caitlin and Cullen; Michael Sullivan and Mark Robertson; Timothy and Andrea Sullivan and their children, Sadie, Charlie, and Quinn; Robert and Rachel Sullivan and their children, Erin, Scott, and Laura. Ray and his lifelong sweetheart, Val, were married for over 52 years. Their journey first began with an introduction in Hartford, CT, during their senior year in high school and continued to grow in Indiana, where Ray graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1964. Ray and Val married in July 1965. Ray worked as a civil engineer for over four decades. But his passion and devotion were to his family and friends. The impact of Ray's father, Jerome, a life long federal marshal, and Kathleen, a school teacher, was exhibited in Ray's empathy and care for others. Over the years, Ray was actively involved in Pop Warner football, Little League baseball and PBA basketball. He served as a role model to many during his life.
