Leonard William Bannerman of Goderich and formerly Culross Township, passed away peacefully at his home, on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at the age of 95.

Beloved husband of 71 years to the late Jean Bannerman (née Keith) who predeceased him in May 2019.

Dear father of Phyllis Bannerman of Caledonia and Dorothy Thomson (Earl) of Barrie.

Missed by his grandchildren Jayson Bryce, Elisa Bryce, Melody Bryce and Sandi Bryce-Chamberlin and several great-grandchildren.

Fondly remembered by his sister-in-law, Elda Nethery, niece Sharron Edgar, nephew Don Bannerman, friend Trish Soldan, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his parents, William and Winifred (née Simms) Bannerman, son-in-law Bill Bryce, brother Midford Bannerman (Thelma) and in-laws Jack Keith (Mary), Gordon Keith (Helen), Bruce Keith (Helen), Grace Townsend (Ken) and Terry Nethery.

Due to varying Covid-19 restrictions within the province, a graveside service to honour Leonard's life will be held at Culross-Teeswater Cemetery on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at 1:30 p.m., Reverend Bonnie Mair officiating.

Memorial donations to the Huron Hospice or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
