Billye Ann Kirby Billups. Daughter of Joseph Bernard Kirby and Laura Jane Colvin. Baby Sister of Ruby Lee Kirby Havens and Dorothy Ellen Kirby. Born March 7, 1929 in Duncan OK. Married Maurice Wayne Billups "Monk" September 20, 1947. Billye passed away October 15th, 2020 and was 91 years old.

Billye Lived a long and noble life. She bravely withstood the discomfort of her illness without complaint and endured it well to the very end. Her last thoughts were of her children and grandchildren, all of whom she Loved so dearly.

Billye and Monk had three girls Kathleen Jane Billups May, Karen Jan Billups Darnell and Marcie Ann Billups Ellis.

She is the grandmother of eight including Jack Thomas May II, Michael James Low, Kevin Leon Low, Benjamin Wayne Low, Brandon Scott Butter, Gavin Lane Butter, Brittany Marie Butler, and Garrett Wayne Butler.

Great Grandmother to fourteen: Stashia, Heath, Spencer, Heather, Bradley James, Destiny, Ethan, Bradley Scott, Jane, Irelynd Jill, Brenna, Skyler, Jackson and Mia.

Great-Great Grandmother to six: Aiden, Aston, Sebastian, Oliver, Autumn, and Juliette.

She is preceded in death by her mother, father, sisters, husband, one grandchild, Kevin Leon Low and one great-grandchild, Irelynd Jill Butler.

Billye and Monk were introduced by dear friends of Billye in Duncan, OK and their first date was a blind date. They married two years later in Henryetta, OK. Early in their marriage they lived in San Jose, CA and Colorado Springs, CO. They moved back to their hometown of Duncan OK, but ultimately ended up in Dallas and then Richardson, TX where they spent the rest of their Lives.

In lieu of flowers, mother would have you make a contribution to St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital.
