Tamara “Tammy” Lee White, age 61, of Hodgenville, passed away, Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

She confirmed her faith in Jesus and was baptized at an early age. She was a retired assistant manager at Hodgenville IGA after many years of service. Tammy had a great sense of humor and loved traveling and spending time with her grandchildren, mother and all her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Gowen; her father, Alvis Lee Shelton and her step-father, Robert “Bob” Salsman.

She is survived by her daughter, Tavis (Keith) Mulkins of Buffalo; her mother, Ruby Delores Salsman of Buffalo; two sisters, Debbie (Tony) Underwood and Kathy (Phil) Booker all of Hodgenville; three grandchildren, Keilee Mulkins, Allison Mulkins and Kaleb Mulkins; a step-sister, Vicki Salsman LaFollette of Buffalo; a special neighbor, Mickey “Pops” Lawler; her dog, Buddy and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, March 20, 2021 at Bennett-Bertram Funeral Home in Hodgenville with Bro. Shannon McCubbins officiating. Burial will follow in the Buffalo Cemetery.
