Jennifer, or "Jenny," was last seen at her residence located in the 60th block of Mowbray Avenue in Bay Shore. Foul play is suspected in her disappearance.
Jenny struggled with drug use and addiction throughout her life. She went to rehab twice and earned her GED while in their care. Her sister, Christine, believes she was using heroin around the time of her disappearance, and fraternizing with people who encouraged drug use.
Before moving to Mobray Avenue, Jenny lived with her boyfriend and an older gentleman who was helping her financially. Christine stated there was "a lot of turmoil at the house" and neighbors were upset with them for hosting parties and being noisy. They were eventually kicked out of the house. Jenny subsequently moved to Bay Shore where she lived for several months before her disappearance.
On April 12, 2010, Jenny called Christine while she was at work and asked her to come to her apartment. When she arrived, Jenny had a large gash on her head. Christine helped Jenny wash the blood out of her hair. When Christine asked her how she received the injury Jenny stated she had no idea.
Joey, Jenny's boyfriend, was kicked out of the apartment he shared with her two weeks prior. He would stop by often to check on her, but she would yell through the door that she was OK and to leave. The day before her disappearance Joey talked to her. He stated she was sporting 2 black eyes and gave a far-fetched reason for her injuries. She wouldn't let him inside the apartment and told him to leave. Despite his concern, Joey did not call police out of fear of being arrested for drunk driving.
On May 3rd, Jenny's landlord went to Christine's office and told her he hadn't seen Jenny for a while and was growing concerned. When Christine was unable to contact Jenny she stopped by the apartment and found the place completely wrecked and splattered with blood. Christine called the police and a missing persons' report was filed. Crime scene teams arrived and they did a full investigation of the apartment. The next day, the canal behind Jenny's home was dredged. Despite searches and interviews Jenny has never been located.
Jenny's case has been over-shadowed in recent times due to the coverage of the Gilgo Beach murders, which were discovered shortly after her disappearance. Gilgo Beach was the dumping grounds for the Long island Serial Killer. This area is located roughly 8 miles away from where Jenny was last seen. Jenny's case fits the profile and time frame, but it's unknown if her disappearance is related. The Long Island Serial Killer has yet to be caught.
Nancy Grace did a short news report about Jenny, but she hasn't received much media coverage elsewhere. Christine has dedicated her life to finding Jenny. She remains missing under suspicious circumstances.
If you knew Jennifer (and have proof of your relationship) feel free to contact the Echoes Path admin on social media or via email. Her page will be updated with more information if sources are provided.

Please contact the Suffolk County Police Department (631-852-6040) if you saw or heard something around the time Jennifer disappeared. More information is desperately needed to solve this case, and any information you can provide to authorities would be very helpful.
