Joseph Theodore Hoffman Jr., 90, of Charlestown, IN, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, IN. He was born on December 17, 1930 in Hardin County KY to Joseph and Mable Norris Hoffman.

He was a retired Labor Foreman for E.H. Hughes and later for Newburg Construction and a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Helen Hoffman, Mary Whalin and Nell Moss.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 69 years, Juanita Hoffman; sons, Robert (Julia) Hoffman of Niceville, FL and Michael (Lynn) Hoffman of Charlestown; brother, Jerome (Ann) Hoffman of Louisville, KY; sisters, Dot (Bob) Bratcher of South Carolina and Betty Robbins of Vine Grove, KY; grandson, Robby (Michellle) Hoffman of Japan; granddaughter, Bridget Hoffman of Niceville, FL; granddaughter, Brooke (Shane) McNatt of Louisville; grandson, Ryan (Kayla) Hoffman of Charlestown; great-grandchildren, Sloane McNatt, Madelyn Hoffman and Liliana Hoffman, Ella Hoffman, Hudson Hoffman, Dawson Hoffman and Saylor McNatt and many nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 am on Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Michael Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Sunday and from 9:00 am to 9:30 am on Monday.
