Linda was retired from Western State Hospital Nursing Facility where she worked as a CNA for 27 years. She was an active member of Grace Ministries Church where she sang in the choir. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing and playing Bingo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Hubert Taylor.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years, David Michael Scott of Hopkinsville; a step-daughter, Mary Scott; three step-grandchildren, Colin, Corbin, and Chloe; a brother, Edward Earl (Donna) Taylor of Pembroke; and three sisters, Teresa (Larry) Parker, Lisa Downey (Howard Robertson), and Mary Elizabeth (Mark) Wiles, all of Hopkinsville.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Friday, March 19, 2021, at Grace Ministries Church, 720 N Elm Street in Hopkinsville. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service hour at the church. Bro. David Spears will officiate. Burial will follow in Tabernacle Cemetery in Hopkinsville. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz.
