Zachary Ty Cross, 7, of Amarillo died Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2007.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday in Hillside Christian Church with Raymond Burch officiating. Graveside services will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in Citizens Cemetery in Clarendon with Al Rodela officiating. Arrangements are by Cox-LaGrone Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Zach was born June 25. 2000, in Amarillo and was a second-grader and "Awesome Aviator" at Tradewind Elementary. He played T-ball and flag football. He loved Spider-Man and loved the mountains, fishing and motorcycles. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and got to attend a Dallas Cowboys game in 2006. His Make-A-Wish came true when he became a police officer in March 2003. Zach was a real trooper and an inspiration to all. He was known as "Little Buddy."

Survivors include his mother, Faleshia Cross of Amarillo; his father, Lance Cross of Pampa; a brother, Tracy Farmer; two sisters, Chelsea Farmer and his twin sister, Maddy Cross; his grandparents, Carol and Jim Cocke of Goodnight, Patricia Overton of LaPorte and Charles Cross of Granbury; Uncle Robby and Aunt Laura Luna of Tell City, Ind., Uncle Ty and Aunt April Cross of White Deer, Aunt Shalina and Uncle Stephen Williams of Amarillo; Great-Uncle Bill Jones of LaPorte; his cousins, Bailee and Clint Cross, Austin and Dallas Luna and Joli Galvan; and other extended special family members, "Special Daddy" Jason Wagner, Lindall and Lyndon Wagner of Bushland, Janis Lawrence, Glenda Sheily, Melissa Banks, Miss Kathlene and Miss Chantel.

The family suggests toys and balloons be donated to Make-A-Wish, Child Life, Toys for Tots or Ronald McDonald House.

Pallbearers will be his uncles.
