Born Mar 15, 1908 in Colonia Morelos, Sonora, Mexico, a daughter of James Wilford and Maria H. Mortensen Ray. Married Alma J. Toone Jun 29, 1962 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Member of Ephraim 2nd LDS Ward. Served as a teacher and executive for the YWMIA for many years. Served a mission to the Northwestern States. Temple ordinance worker, Manti Temple. Taught school at Snow College for 28 years. Formerly president of the Utah Business Association and past president of the Sanpete Branch AAUW and secretary of the Utah division of the AAUW. Member Ephraim DUP, and BPW. Member Alpha Lota and Delta Phi Epsillon. survivors: Husband, Ephraim; one brother, M. Wardlow Ray, Chandler, Arizona; two halfbrothers and three half sisters, Milo Ray, Mesa, Arizona; Waldo Ray of Taylor, Arizona; Mrs. Warren (Fern) Willis, Wickenburg, Arizona; Mrs. Elsie Willis, Hayward, California; Mrs. Don (Marguerite) Thomas, Taylor, Arizona.
