CROYDON--Alma Judd Toone, 95, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999 in the Jordan Valley Hospital in West Jordan, Utah.

He was born August 23, 1904 in Echo, Summit Co., Utah to Felix P. and Emily Judd Toone.

On June 29, 1962 Alma married Nellie Ray in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Nellie died Feb. 4, 1984.

As a young man he had been a sheep herder and rancher in and around Henefer, Utah and had a great love for animals and horses. In his later years he worked for the Utah Department of Highways, retiring in 1969.

Alma moved to Ephriam, Utah in 1962 where as an active member of the LDS Church, he was a dedicated Home Teacher. He served as Finance Clerk in the Ephriam 2 nd Ward for 15 years, serving five different Bishops. He and his wife were ordinance workers in the Manti Temple for seven years.

In 1984, he moved to Morgan, Utah to be nearer his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, three sisters and four brothers.

Surviving are many nieces and nephews that have shared in stories of his years of experiences.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, Nov. 27, 1999 at 12 noon in the Henefer, Utah Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Morgan, Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 p.m.
