Circumstances of death: On February 17, 2015, in a battle at the checkpoint near Debaltseve, Vitaliy had his leg torn off, he was given first aid and sent to hospital. On the way, a car with the wounded came under artillery fire, killing everyone in the car. Vitaly's body was found at the place where the car was shot.
