Emma Sue Hewitt Poole, 96, of Manassas, VA passed away on June 26, 2020 at her home.

She was a native of Greer, SC, and the daughter of the late Charles and Estelle Johnson Hewitt. She was preceded in death by her loving husband James Walker Poole, along with three sisters, and three brothers.

Emma Sue was a life long homemaker, and she found great joy and pride in spending time with her family and loved ones, and doing her crossword puzzles.

Survivors include her children, son Sammy Poole (Sharon), daughters Susan Martini, Patricia Moats (Mickey), her grandchildren Sean Roach (Cynthia), Alicia Martini (Johnny), and Angela Martini; her great-grandchildren Heather Roach, and Holly Roach; great-great grandchildren Abigale Taylor and JJ Martini; one surviving sister Sylvia Mason of Taylor, SC along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 6-8PM at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192.
