Jack L. “Fat Jack” Long Jr., 50, of Canton, IL., passed away at 12:17 PM on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Graham Hospital in Canton. He was born on July 16, 1970 in Canton to Jack and Norma (Pickle) Long Sr. Jack was preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving is one brother, Terry (Cathy) Lindsey; two sisters, Mary Ann Boyd and Jacquetta Long; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jack worked as a bus driver for over 25 years. He loved to listen to music at Jones Park and Big Creek Park and also loved to visit with the Canton Fire Department.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at American Grille, 525 S. 5th Ave. Canton, IL 61520. Rev. Monroe Bailey will officiate.
Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials can be made to the family.
