Emily B. Mason, 64, of Fremont, OH, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 13, 2021. She was born in Toledo, OH on March 30, 1956 to Alvin Mason and Marian (Boltz) Benlein. Emily was a graduate of Fremont Ross High School. Emily worked at H.J. Heinz in many departments for thirty years, retiring in 2014. She was a former member of the Fremont Moose, Eagles and VFW. Emily enjoyed swimming, dancing, going many places but most of all, spending time with her family. She made friends with everyone she met.
Emily is survived by her siblings, Lynn (Phyllis) Mason, Tiffin, OH, Janice Williams, Sandusky, OH; daughters, Tammi Jaskulski, Elon, NC, Beth (Dawayne) Bell, Bucyrus, OH; grandchildren, Chelsea Sheldon, TahShawn Jones, Nathan Hatcher, Kristy Perry, Christopher (Leona) Perry, Traxton Bell; grandchildren, DeAndre Jones, Kaydance Dewiel, Maverick McKever, Khaira Jones, Nova Hatcher, Colton Dewiel, Zeke Perry, Charles Dewiel and her companion, Gene Churchill.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Doug Mason.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 425 E. State St, Fremont, OH 43420.
