Prior to retirement in 1992, Ruby was employed with Owens Illinois / Anchor Hocking for 25 years. Born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Ruby has been a resident of Franklinville since 1962. She enjoyed traveling and was a member of the Red Hat Club.

She is the beloved wife of the late Enouch Welcome Crouch who she married November 8th 1948, devoted mother of Earstene Crouch, Dolores Anderson and Juanita Akins; dear sister of Liller Dansby and Evelyn Fewell; loving grandmother of Enouch, Dameon, Lemar, Ledelle and the late Yolanda and great grandmother of Derrick and Rahbyn; also survived by a host of nieces, nephews extended family and friends.
