Mrs. Evans was a homemaker, and an excellent cook, who enjoyed needlework, crochet, embroidery, and quilting. She was very close to her family, and loved them all dearly.
Mrs. Evans was a member of the Holden Avenue Church of Christ; later attending Southwest Church of Christ in Jonesboro.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Gene Boone; and one sister, Tommie Brinsfield.
Mrs. Evans is survived by one sister, Catholene Reeve of Jonesboro; special nieces and nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
Graveside services are 1:00 p.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit at the funeral home, Friday, 12:00 until 12:45 p.m.
