Joyce Faye Williams, 82, lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident, died on Monday, March 15, 2021 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Joyce was born December 8, 1938 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Bert Marshal Harris and Georgia Anna (Bramlet) Harris. Joyce grew up in Seminole and attended public schools in Seminole. Joyce married Leon Williams on April 21, 1956 in Seminole, Oklahoma and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2012. Joyce worked for many years at Bob’s Bookkeeping Service in Seminole for many years and was still doing bookkeeping at her home until her health failed her. She also worked for over 25 years at Daylight Donuts in Seminole where she met and knew almost everyone in town. Joyce loved cooking, especially making candy, embroidering, quilting, and being with her grandchildren. She was a longtime member of Harvey Road Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed her friends and going places with them, mainly to the movies each week and they were known as the “4 Musketeers.” Joyce is survived by her son Leslie Williams and his wife Peggy of Seminole, Oklahoma, her daughter; Sheila King and her husband Tim of Shawnee, Oklahoma, her grandchildren; Brad and Tonya Duncan, Michael Duncan and Tiffany Duncan, Brandon and Jodi King, Jason and Amber Duncan, Brandi and Jarrod Wells, Ashley and Jason Fowler, Mitchell and Nikki Williams and Stephanie and Buck Rich and all their families and her great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Leon Williams, her two daughters; Pam Duncan and Toni Williams and her sister, Billie Odor. Funeral services are planned for, Friday, March 19, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. Services will be held at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating with her grandson Brad Duncan assisting. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Brad Duncan, Michael Duncan, Jason Duncan, Jason Fowler, Jarrod Wells and Buck Rich.
