Beverly Jean Barnhart Lambert, age 78, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away November 9, 2009 in Stockton.

Beverly was born on December 8, 1930 to Thomas and Elsie Barnhart in Pocatello, Idaho. In spite of the constraints of the Depression and subsequent recovery years, her childhood was a happy one. Her calling was music and business.

While in Pocatello High School, Beverly served as the president of the Bank. The bank experiences were positive ones and set the stage for her desire to enter into the business community. She was also a member of the Philomathean Choir. This choir came to have quite a reputation throughout southern Idaho.

Beverly met the love of her life, Dean Lambert and married on November 11, 1949. Their union brought them two children, Gregory Dean Lambert and Deborah Jean Lambert. The marriage was later solemnized in the Los Angeles, Calif. LDS Temple on September 4, 1958.

Beverly served faithfully as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including many auxiliary leadership positions. Beverly and her husband fulfilled a full-time mission in 1980-1981 where they served as Directors of the Ogden Temple Visitor's Center.

Beverly was employed at UOP for 15 years as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Athletics. In 1974 she entered into the real estate sales force, specializing in new home sales with Stonewood Development. Beverly enjoyed singing and performing with the Stockton Chorale. She was also a talented seamstress.

Beverly is survived by her sweetheart, Dean Lambert, brother Jay Barnhart (Jeanette), sisters Sharon Waters (Jerry), Rhonda Porter (Dave), her son Greg Lambert (Gloria Anderson), her daughter Debbie Sager (Kent Sager), and seven grandsons; Garrett (Melissa) Lambert, Todd (Joann) Lambert, Jay (Tawny) Lambert, Ross Lambert, Rick (Annie) Sager, Ryan (Katie) Sager, Kyle (Melanie) Sager, and eight great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at the Stockton LDS ward chapel, at El Dorado and Lincoln Road. A viewing will be held from 1:00-2:30 p.m. at the church prior to the services. Interment will be at Cherokee Memorial Park, Lodi, California.
