Norma June Russell, 90, of Joplin, passed away March 15, 2021.
Norma was born June 2, 1930 in Picher, Oklahoma to the late William and Harvey (Trimble) Russell. She retired from management at AT&T in St. Louis. Norma June was a member of First United Methodist Church of Joplin.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Harvey, Eugene and Donald.
Survivors include her sister-in-law, Joye Russell; four nieces and nephews, Liz Fugate, Jeanie Brooks, Monte Russell and Jay Russell; her special caregiver, Pat Bernard; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
The family will hold a graveside committal at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Carterville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Joplin Humane Society. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
