MAE WRIGHT BREWER
May 13, 1952 - March 15, 2021

Visitation for Mae Wright Brewer will be held Friday, March 19, 2021, at McClain-Hays Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a private family only graveside service to follow. McClain-Hays Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Brewer, 68, of Pheba, MS, died Monday, March 15, 2021, at her home.

A native of Kemper County, she was a graduate of Kemper County High School. After graduation she attended EMCC and Mississippi State University where she received her Master of Education degree. She served as the Superintendent of Education for West Clay Elementary School for 28 years until she retired. She was currently serving as an Election Commissioner for Clay County.

Survivors include grandchildren, Corey Ott and Cameron (Amber)Ott, both of Pheba; twin sister, Faye (Marcus) Wilson of DeKalb and sister, Jo (Stan) Pigott of Meridian; brother, Dee Luke (Faye) Wright of Louisville; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by
husband, Walker Gene Brewer;
stepson, Dean Brewer;
parents, Virgil and Ercelle Wright;
sister, June Wright.

Pallbearers are Bill Cox, Greg Wright, Tim Wilson, Wilson Webb, Chad Pigott, and Logan Webb.
