Fred T. Fields, 80, of Amelia, passed away Thursday, August 15, 2019 at Arbors of Milford. He was born November 24, 1938 in Turkey Creek, Kentucky, son of the late Elmer "Pug" and Pearl Muncy Fields. He was married to Betty "Gail" Arnett Fields for 51 years, who survives. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddy Fields; sister-in-law, Mary Sox Fields and a son-in-law, Steve Roat.

Fred was an avid fisherman who never met a stranger and cherished his family.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his children, Edie Roat, Ed Fields, Sharon Moss and husband Wayne; grandchildren, Matthew Moss and wife Megan, Stephanie Combs and husband Caleb; one great-grandson on the way, Samuel Moss; sister, Margaret Ann Tucker; brothers, Tommy Dale Fields, Gary Lee Fields and wife Mary as well as several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 2:00 PM, until the time of the service at 4:00 PM, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St. (SR 125), Amelia. Cremation will take place afterwards.
