Mr. Jack Wayne Roberts, age 79 of Monroeville passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at his residence. He was a native of Norfolk VA and served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Roberts retired as a Master Sgt. and was active in the American Legion and Veteran Security Police Association.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred Ruple and Dorothy Krough Ruple; brother Bob Roberts and grandson Holden Hinote.

Mr. Roberts is survived by his wife Lorraine Owen Roberts of Monroeville, AL; two sons Brad (Sabrina) Hinote of Monroeville, AL and Brandon Hinote of Jay, FL; one daughter Shay (Wade) Blanton of Frisco City, AL and grandchildren Hayden Hinote, Brody Hill, Dalton Hill, Chandler Hinote, Chase Sawyer and only granddaughter Lexie Hinote.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 18, 2021 from 6PM to 8PM at Johnson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Veteran Security Police Association or the American Kidney Foundation. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
