THE CEMETERY IS ON THE LEFT ABOUT 100 YARDS FROM ROAD ON TOP OF A SLIGHT HILL IN AN OPEN FIELD ABOUT 1/4 MILE BEFORE REACHING THE FLINT RIVER BRIDGE.

This cemetery is also known as the Reeves-Bates Cemetery. It is located just south of Highway 92 about 1/2 mile before crossing the Flint River Bridge between Spalding and Fayette County. It is located off the road out in a field in a group of trees on land currently owned by a Leon Spoon, 2489 Vaughn Road, Griffin, GA 30223. It is accessible from highway 92 or Vaughn Road. Not sure of the total number of graves. Many years ago vandals destroyed many of the headstones.
