The second of five children, Lynn was born on June 10, 1939 to Walter and Bertha in Whiteface, Texas. Lynn grew up on a farm and learned his strong work ethic at a young age.
He married Peggy (Whitley) in 1962, and together they had three daughters: Tonna, Brook and Holly.
Lynn enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in the produce industry. After retiring in 2005, he enjoyed spending time golfing, fishing and tinkering. He was not one to sit still for long. Lynn treasured many long friendships and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was at his happiest when involved in a project, with high expectations for a perfect completion.
Lynn was predeceased by his parents, younger brother Mack, and beloved daughter, Brook.
He will remain forever in the hearts of his wife Peggy; two daughters, Tonna (David) Henson and Holly (William) Clark; five grandchildren, Cort Henson, Paige Henson, Heather (Desmond) Early, Joelle (Russell) Speirs, Lauren (Matthew) Sweeney, and eight great-grandchildren.
At Lynn's request, a private family service will be held. Donations may be made in Lynn's memory to Hospice of Yuma, who provided meaningful and much appreciated support to his family during the last weeks of his life. Hospice of Yuma, 1824 S 8th Ave, Yuma, Arizona 85364
