Marie Long, 94, of Washington, passed away at 11:11pm Saturday, March 13, 2021 at The Loft Rehabilitation and Nursing in Eureka.
She was born January 13, 1927 in Morris Chapel, TN to Lemual and Amanda Deatherage Grisham. She married Willis Fitzgerald, he preceded her in death in 1975. She later married Forest Long, he preceded her in death in 2016.
Burial will follow in Glendale Cemetery in Washington.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Don; siblings, Roy, Lois, Demova, Dendon, Lendon, Dovie, Junior, Katy, Bobby; and many friends.
Surviving are two daughters, June Kirkpatrick, Barbara (Curt) Fitzgerald-Schlack; two grandsons, Rodney (Heather) Marshall, Vance (Nicole) Kirkpatrick; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Bryden, Mackenzie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Marie was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Bloomington.
She was a Christian who loved the Lord and her family, and will be greatly missed by all. She is now rejoicing with her family and friends who preceded her to heaven.
