Phyllis Robinson, 81, of County Route 25, Whippleville died Friday, March 12, 2021 at her home.

Born on February 24, 1940 in Rochester, NY, she was the daughter of Harrison and Beatrice (Tuper) Holcomb.

She was married to her caring husband, Herbert “Whitey” Robinson for over 40 years. He predeceased her on September 6, 2018.

Phyllis graduated from high school in Rochester. In her early years, she was employed at Tru-Stitch in Bombay, the Franklin Hotel and the Jury Box as a waitress. She was later employed at the Franklin County Nursing Home, Ames and the Farrar Home as a cook and CNA. She then opened a private adult home which she ran until her retirement due to ill health. Phyllis was a former member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by nine children, Laura Burgess of Malone, Michael Robinson and his wife, Patty of North Carolina, Paul Jock and his wife, Jill of Bangor, Christine Tate of Spokane, WA, Mark Jock of Spokane, WA, Ross Robinson and his wife, Sue of North Carolina, Walter Robinson and his wife, Denise of Florida, Anona Frensdorf and her husband, Joel of Florida, Scott Robinson of Malone; a son-in-law, Gene LaRock of Malone; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents; three daughters, Kathy Paquin, Candy Jock and Sharon LaRock; two sons, Lloyd Jr., and Larry Jock; a son-in-law, Frank Tate; a sister, Elizabeth Ashley and brother, Donald Holcomb.

Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Brushton.
