Sarah Lavetta Parker, age 96 was born October 7, 1924 to Mary and Simon Blue in Greensboro, NC. She left to be in glory on February 26, 2021.

Sarah was a mother, sister, supporter, motivator, rock of the family and so much more. She attended school in Greensboro, NC where she graduated. She moved to Baltimore, MD at a young age, where she met Pearlie Parker, who preceded her in death. Sarah was employed at Rosewood State Hospital for 25 years, where she retired. Also, a faithful long standing member of New Christian Memorial where she served in many different ministries. She absolutely loved church and loved to serve the Lord.

Sarah was preceded in death by her two sisters, Doretha Miller and Louise. Five sons, Kenneth Blue, Aloise Garner, James Garner, DeVaughn Parker, Dennis Parker, and one daughter Glenda Garner. Two grandsons, Juhahn Belcher and Dennis Parker Jr. (Apple). She leaves to mourn her two children Wayne Parker and Regina Parker. Fourteen grandchildren, Cantrece Parker, Lyndria Parker, Correl Parker, Christian Parker, DeVaughn Parker Jr., KeRon Parker, Dante Parker, Renarsha Gardner, Teaonna Parker, Dennis Parker Jr. (Walter), Shawn Parker, Stevie Garner, and Serita Garner and a host of great grandchildren.
