This beautiful precious young lady, Crystal Dawn Pleasant Walker, age 44, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. Born in Gaston County on December 31, 1976 she was the daughter of Wanda England Pleasant of Gastonia and the late Charles R. Pleasant Jr. Crystal was a loving, caring, funny person that always did for others before herself. She had a heart of gold and never met a stranger. She was loved by so many people. Her smile was contagious. She was a strong inspirational person that struggled with a long term illness. Crystal said; “ God gives his toughest battles to his strongest warriors.” Crystal loved Dallas Cowboys, shopping, cooking, spending time with her family, sending “ Good Morning” messages to her family and friends and riding in her Camero with the top down.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Jason Walker; her mother, Wanda England Pleasant (Eddie) of Gastonia, her sons, Zachary Crocker (Hannah), Cody Walker (Jetta), and Ty Walker all of Gastonia; 2 grandsons, Waylon and Jackson; a brother Michael Pleasant (Amanda) of Dallas; grandparents, Charles and Carolyn Pleasant of Bessemer City; Canine companion, “Opie”; and numerous Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
