Funeral services for Bruce Allen Riley were held January 4, 2005 at First Presbyterian Church in Winona with Dr. Harold Richardson officiating and Rev. Eugene Banes assisting. Burial was held at Duck Hill Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Riley, 77, of Winona,died of cardiorespiratory failure January 2, 2005 at Tyler Holmes Hospital. He was a member and deacon of First Presbyterian Church in Winona; US Navy Veteran of WWII; 32nd Degree Mason; Shriner; former president of the Winona Shrine Club. He was a former member of the Moore Memorial United Methodist Church, where he served as District Lay and Local Lay Member of the Annual Conference.

Mr. Riley was preceded in death by his parents, Mr.and Mrs. Robert M. Riley; and sister, Sue Hull. Survivors include his wife, Jean Smith Riley of Winona; daughter, Amber Riley Cox of Brandon; step-son, Jeff Mitchell of Bartlett, Tenn.; and 5 grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Barry Blakely, Phillip Richardson, Brent Richardson, James Hunger, Jamie Hudson, Joe Hudson and John Rigby.

Honorary pallbearers were the Elders and deacons of First Presbyterian Church.
