Dr. Steven Patrick Bailey, 67, Greenwood, formerly of Clarksville, Tennessee, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. Steve was born August 23, 1953, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, to the late Paris and Helen (Hahn) Bailey.

He graduated from Antioch High School, attended Columbia State University, and graduated from Life Chiropractic University in Marietta, Georgia. He followed a longline of chiropractors in his family to continue this service to others. Always one to stay busy, Steve enjoyed being involved in Habitat for Humanity and Christmas in April. In addition to understanding structure, both in the human body and buildings, Steve had an excellent eye for design and creativity. He used his high energy level to see many projects through and was always interested in helping others. Steve will be fondly remembered by his loving family, friends, and patients.

Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Kathy; siblings, Dr. Paris Bailey and Julie (Jerry) Norman; step-mother, Joan Bailey; half-sisters, Lynn and Patrice Bailey; several nieces and nephews.

Private family viewing will be observed. The graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, March 13, 2021, in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Greenwood.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Habitat for Humanity.
