RUTH ELEANOR PIXLEY LOWERY was born on April 8, 1927 to Mildred and Bernard Pixley in Mason City Iowa along with her twin brother Bernie Pixley. They later moved to Long Beach California where Ruth graduated from Alhambra High School on June 12, 1945.

Ruth spent much of her life between California and the Islands of Hawaii, where she had family and business. Ruth owned and operated restaurants and Taverns, The White Horse Inn and the Bavarian Village on the mainland and The Whalers Pub, Bettino's and The Sly Mongoose on Maui.

Ruth was an accomplished artist an a member of the Mendocino County Art Association. Ruth worked closely with St. Mary of the Angels Parish as a Volunteer for the Mendocino County Crisis Line.

Ruth met the love of her Life that she now leaves behind Dr. Leroy Ramsey Lowery. Ruth and Lee met in 1999 while Ruth was working as a Social Worker at Ukiah Post-Acute . Ruth and Lee where married on April 25, 2000 and lived happily for 21 years.

Ruth is the Loving Mother to Linda Anderson, Kim (David) Kesler, Jill (Bill) Dacanay
Loving Grandmother to- Leah (Steve),Mendoza, Cody Max, Blake Kesler, Taylor Kesler, Robert Dacanay, Christie (Charles) Brown
Loving Great grandmother to Travis (Carina), Myles, Tanner, Steve (Andria), John (Kristin), Aurora, Marshall, Clayton, Cecily, Carmelo, Cedric, She also leaves behind 12 Great Great Grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Eversole Mortuary.
