She married John E. Higgins Dec. 4, 1966 in Waterloo.
She was office manager at Geist-Brown-Geist Insurance and then Overhead Door, retiring in 2015.
Preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside services will be held privately at Waterloo Cemetery.
