Barbara “Bobbie” Gilbert Moss, 91, of Anderson, passed away March 11, 2021.
Born December 24, 1929, in Anderson, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Orr and Etrulia Junkins Gilbert. She was retired from Floyd & Beasley Transfer Co. as an office administrator and was a graduate of Anderson Girls High. Mrs. Moss attended Rockdale Baptist Church and was a former member of Oakwood Baptist Church.
Surviving are her daughters: Debbie Flowers (Bill) of Lavonia, GA, Donna Howard of Gainesville, FL, and Theresa Sutton (Mike) of Dacula, GA; grandchildren: Krista Flowers, Justin Flowers (Christen), Colin Sutton (Haley), Ryan Sutton (Ashley) and Peyton Sutton (Maggie); and great grandchildren: Emma Jane, Keller, and Anderson Flowers and Isabel, Hayes, Claire, Landry and Lofton Sutton and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Julia Mellinger, and siblings: Lawrence “Billy” Gilbert and Rudolph Gilbert.
Graveside services will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
