Gregory Gray, 57, of Poughkeepsie, died on Friday, March 12, 2021, at home, in the company and care of his loving wife and family.
Born on May 22, 1963, in Beacon, NY, he was the son of Vergon and Adele Winston Gray. He married Grace A. Higgs. Grace survives at home.
Prior to his extended illness, he worked for Stop & Shop Grocery Store as a Baker for many years.
In addition to his wife Grace and father, Vergon Gray, he is survived by children, Ashley Gray, Ciera Gray, Gregory Gray Jr, Gerrel Gray, William Gray, Faith Gray, Aviana Gray and grandchildren Kiarra Gray, Kemounte Gray, Arayah Gray, Myles Gray, Malaysia Gray, Kaison Gray-McCoy, Ashton Gray-McCoy and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his mother, Adele Winston Gray. Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, March 14, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm, at Sweet's Funeral Home, Rte. 9, Hyde Park.
Graveside services will begin at 9:30 am on Monday, March 15, 2021 at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery with the Rev. Arlene Dawber, officiating.
