Steve Franklin Hughes, age 73, of McCaysville, GA passed away on Friday, March 12, 2021 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. He was born on June 27, 1947 in McCaysville, GA. Steve had worked as an EMT. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church in McCaysville, GA. Steve was an avid golfer, fisherman and hunter. He cherished spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Winston Hughes and Odeis Dockery Hughes and sister, Sandra Towery.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, March 14, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Midway Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Pantertown Cemetery.
