Mr. James Carroll, age 84, born July 27, 1938, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 29, 2022. James was a deacon of Shield of Faith Church, a farmer, enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and he loved his dog Dixie. Preceded in death by loving wife, Barbara June Carroll, Son, James A. Carroll, Daughter, Bobbie Ann Brown, Son-in-law, Paul David Lumpkins, Brothers, Henry and Lewis Carroll, Sisters, Julie Moser, Anna Mae Jenkins, and the late, Alvin Wallace.
Survived by Daughters, Elsie Phillips and husband, Stanley and Joyce Carroll and fiance' Ron Lane; Special Granddaughters, Andrea Haas, Amanda Jones and husband, Josh, Rebecca Carroll; Grandsons, Scotty Carroll and fiance' Brandi, Matt Carroll and wife, Tara, and Timmy Hatmaker and Ryan; Very Special Great-Granddaughters, Ashley Haas, Gracie Jones, Braylee Carroll; Great-Grandson, Jace Jones and Great-Grandson by heart, Grayson Mulligan; Wife, Linda Carroll; Step-Sons, Richard and Charlie Wallace; Brother, Paris Carroll and wife, Maria; Special Sister-in-Law, Millie Carroll; Daughter-in-Law, Lois Carroll; Special Niece, Ginger Muse and Alissa. Funeral Services Sunday, July 31, 2022, 4:00 P.M. at Walters Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ray Woods officiating. Interment to follow at Well Springs Cemetery. The family will receive from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Sunday before funeral services. Pallbearers: Scotty Carroll, Ron Lane, Jacob Wagner, Stanley Phillips, Matthew Brooks, and Josh Jones.
